Maria Natalia Damayanti Maer, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., earned her Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Petra Christian University. She then pursued a Master of Arts in Public Relations and Public Communications from the University of Westminster in London. As a Fulbright Scholarship awardee, she earned her Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. Her academic focus and research interests include intergroup and intercultural communication, communication within the context of new media and technology, and consumer behavior. Her research contributes to the fields of marketing and management by providing deeper insights into effective communication strategies and the impact of new media on consumer behavior.
